Brain Aneurysm Awareness

Froggie has a boo-boo

September is Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month

As a brain aneurysm survivor, it means a great deal to me to raise awareness on this silent killer.

My brain aneurysm was found accidently while having an MRI done for another reason. Two months later,  in January of 2017,  I had my life saving surgery.

I am still healing. Some days are more difficult than others but, I am still here today and very grateful for that.

Thank you! 🙂

Make every moment count.

It has been a while since I posted here or created any cards at arts-n-cards because in November, 2016, I found out that I had a brain aneurysm. In Janurary, 2017,  I had the clipping done, a complete craniotomy.  4 months after brain surgery,  the healing process still continues.

At times, it is still hard and some days seem worse than others. There is no more putting anything off for tomorrow. I feel very fortunate because I am a survivor, who is still here today.  We should never take anyone or anything for granted and always make every moment count.
